Swarm New Radicalism - Rotterdam

Under the title “DOE NEUTRAAL”, the third edition of New Radicalism (organized by (A)WAKE) explores what “neutrality” really means in Dutch culture, academia, and the arts.

In the Netherlands, people often say “Doe normaal!” — a phrase used to call someone out for doing or saying something outside the norm. But who actually decides what “normal” is? And can so-called neutrality still be considered normal in times when fundamental rights are under severe pressure?

To carry this conversation from day into night, the curators invited SWARM to bridge the program with a dance through the streets.
